Mother's Day

I've made this card for my Mother In Law for Mother's Day. This is the first time I have done this but my card qualifies for several challenges

A Spoon Full Of Sugar ~ Pearls & glitter (there is glitter on Tildas dress)
Cute Card Thursday ~ Ribbon (I have used lace so I hope that's ok)
Saturday Challenge ~ Mothers day

Hope everyone has a good weekend and thanks for looking.

Missed Challenge

I made this card following last weeks sketch on Friday Sketchers but have only just got round to finishing it. The image is one of my favourites and I used Copic card stock which is such a joy to colour. The paper is My Minds Eye Bloom & Grow.

Have a good weekend.

Thanks for looking

Create4fun Challenge

I really enjoyed last weeks challenge over at Create4fun so much that I decided to enter this weeks challenge too. Tanja has created a fabulous sketch to follow and one I will use again.
My image is from the CC Designs Spring kit which I received this week. The designer paper is called Early Bird by Cosmo Cricket which are my favourite at the moment just love the bright colours. I have used my Copic pens to colour the image, sentiment is by Stamping Up and brads from my stash.
Hope everyone has had a good weekend. Ours has been frustrating, yesterday our new bed wouldn't fit up the stairs and so we had to take off the door frame to get into our bedroom and today our new washing machine arrived only to find it it faulty and now needs to be exchanged.
Think we won't order anything new for a while lol!

Create 4 Fun

This is the first time I have entered into a challenge over at Create 4 fun challenge blog. The sketch has been provided by the very talented Bev and its fabulous to work with.
I have used some papers called Pretty Please by My Minds Eye which are free with this months Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine. The image is from the Summer kit by Whiff of Joy and I've used my Copic pens to colour Willow.
The circles have been cut using Nestabilites and borders have been created using a Martha Stewart punch.

Hanging treat Box

I've made this hanging treat box for a good friend of ours who loves his cooking. It was really quick & easy to make and a great gift idea. The idea is not mine, I found the tutorial on a blog I was browsing a while ago. I used my Scor-Pal which made the job very easy.
The image is by Magnolia from a previous kit club. I've used my Copic pens to colour Edwin. Not much more to say about it.
Have a great weekend
