A Spoon Full Of Sugar

Over at A Spoon Full Of Sugar there is a fabulous sketch by Debbie and here is my entry. I haven't add much in the way of embellishments because the designer paper is quite busy and the image is on the large size, keep it simple.
The image is by High Hopes and is just perfect for my nephew's Christmas cards. The designer paper is Eskimo Kisses by Basic Grey.
We are off to Barcelona at the weekend for 5 days and then 3 days in North Yorkshire for a family celebration so not much time for card making.

Sketch Saturday

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Mine has been quite productive a bit of housework, baking a cake and making this card. I am entering my card into this weeks challenge over at Sketch Saturday a fabulous sketch and one I'll use again.
I've had this High Hopes rubber stamp for quite a while and thought it was about time I used it again, it's great for those difficult teenage boy cards. The image has been coloured using Copics & Pro-markers.
I'm now off to do some blog hopping and then to watch the X-Factor results show. I really hope that John & Edward are voted off this week, they can't sing lol!

Messy Rabbit

I have left it a little late in the day to photograph this card must retake it in the daylight. This Messy Rabbit card is for a male colleague of mine who's birthday is at the end of the month and so I went for an Autumn themed card.

I love the Messy Rabbit stamps and they are so quick and easy to colour, I have used combination of Copics & Pro-makers on this card. The dp is Basic grey and ribbon from my friend May Britt.

Hanglar Pink Ribbon

Over at Hanglar they are supporting breast cancer awareness month. There is a wonderful sketch to follow and they are asking for you to put a pink ribbon on your card. I think my pink ribbon is slightly on the big side lol!

This card is a little busy and I'm not sure if I really like it. The stamp is a Hanglar from a previous club kit and I've used my pro-markers & copics to colour the image. My friend May Britt sent me a goody bag and in it was the doyley and the ribbon I have used on this card. The flowers were in the sale bin at my local craft shop so a real bargain!

Papertake Weekly

I was determined to have make it into my craft room again this afternoon and made this card following a wonderful sketch on the Papertake Weekly challenge. I rotated the ribbon to enable me to get all the elements onto my card.

I have used my new Making New Friends stamp by High Hopes which I purchased from Nikki @ Bunny Zoe. The image has been coloured using mainly Copics and a couple of Pro-markers. The designer paper is from a scrap booking kit I bought last year and I think they are by Brenda Walton.

Gift Box

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I managed to escape to my craft room for several hours this afternoon and made this gift box for my daughter Poppy to give to one of her school friends who's birthday is next weekend.
The image is one of my favourites by Whiff of Joy as is the text, they work so well together. I have used oval nestabilities and mounted the image on foam pads for some dimension. The flowers are have been made using three different sizes of retro flower punches.

Cute Card Thursday

Over at Cute Card Thursday this weeks challenge is "So Charming" they would like you to use a charm on your card or project. My little charm is a key rather apt for a new home card. I love using charms on my cards so this challenge is just perfect for me.
I have used last weeks sketch from Friday Sketchers. The plan was to enter this card but because I have been so busy at work this past week I have just been too tired to venture into my craft room in the evenings and so missed the deadline. The story of my life at the moment lol!
The image is a Magnolia from the last kit club and I have coloured the image with a combination of Pro-markers & Copics. The flower I made using three sizes of retro punches.

Saturday Challenge

Another Christmas card ticked off my list. I am entering this card into this weeks challenge over at Saturday Challenge which is "Celebration". The stamp is a Tim Holtz Christmas stamp that I bought whilst in Norway visiting my friend May Britt. I wanted a vintage feel to this card and I think I have achieved it.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar

Mel

My lovely friend May Britt send me instructions on how to make this cute little box. It reminded me of being at school as you have to use a compass and protractor to get all the angles right.
I am entering this little creation into this weeks challenge over at A Spoon Full of Sugar, Christmas.
The designer paper and mulberry flowers were a gift from May Britt and the images are Magnolia Christmas stamps from a couple of years ago.
