Roses On Paper

I have just discovered a new (well new to me) challenge site called Roses On Paper and have decided to enter this card into this weeks challenge - incorporating punches. I have used my Martha Stewart punch to create my border.
The sweet image is Fireman Ian by The Greetings Farm and is a joy to colour. The papers are by Basic Grey. This card is for my sister in law's hubby who just happens to be a p/t fireman.

We're Back......

from our holiday in Somerset. We had a fabulous time and visited lots of interesting places Wookey Hole, Clovelly, Dunster Castle & travelled on the East Somerset Railway. The weather was very kind and we only had one day of rain. Our accommodation was amazing and the setting just outstanding I would strongly recommend it if you like quaint & peaceful.
I will be back later with a card.

Sketch Saturday

Boy did I struggle with this card. I think maybe it's because the image is quite simple not much colour to it. I did try adding more colour but it just looked wrong so my first attempt ended up in the bin.

The image is a Penny Black and I have stamped the cute Christmas mouse in Archival coffee bean ink. I have used my oval Nestabilites to create a frame for the image. The designer paper is from last year Christmas stack by DCVW.

And the last challenge is Stamp With Fun a birthday theme

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend, a busy one for me as we are going on holiday on Friday and I have to get the washing & ironing up to date so not such time for crafting.

Pearl Wedding Anniversary

My Mother In Law asked if I would make a Pearl Wedding Anniversary card for her Daughter & Son In Law. I always worry when I'm asked to make a card on behalf of someone else but I am pleased to say that she is delighted with it, whew!
I've now got to come up with another idea for our card!
The design paper is from The Wedding Collection by DCWV, I have stamped the image and coloured using my Pro-markers. Most of the other bits & bobs are from my stash.
