Vintage Birthday

It makes a change for me to make card without stamping an image. I bought the topper for this card whilst I was in Norway from a shop called Steffans. I just love them and just ordered some more.

The design paper is by K&Co and I have used a Martha Stewart punch for the border. The flower are from my stash as are the pearls.

Special Card for a Special Friend

I really enjoyed making this circular card. It has taken me several evenings but I am pleased with the end result. I have used a mixture of Hanglar & Magnolia rubber stamps and coloured them with Pro-markers. The design papers are all by DCWV from various stacks.

It's week 19 over at Colour Create and this week's colour combination is blush pink, lilac & mossy green. My designer paper contains all these colours, the optional extra is a die cut, I have used my retro flowers punches and 3d pads for lift.
The image is by Hanglar one of their older images which my friend May Britt gave to me.

Wedding Anniversary

I've had great trouble taking a decent photo of this card, in fact nothing has gone right with this card, lol!
The images are from Hanglar and I've used the masking technique and coloured them in using my Pro-markers.
My friend May Britt have me some old music sheets when I visited her and so I have torn, inked the edges and rolled to make a scroll and added flowers.
This card is growing on me!

Nephew's 2nd Birthday

My youngest nephew Kieran will be 2 at the end of July. Sadly I have never met Kieran or his older brother Ryan as they live in Singapore. In a couple of week they are moving to Australia but I hope that one day I will be able to visit them and meet them in the flesh.
I have used my very neglected Hamish fixing tractor stamp, ribbon & star button from my stash. The design papers is DCVW Kids.

Show Us Your Scrap Space

Over on StampARTic the challenge this week is "show us your scrap space" . I spent all today resorting my craft room as I had to find room for my new 12x12 scrap paper trolley.
I thought I'd take a photo because it won't stay this tidy for very long!

Flannel Cake

I decided to have a try at making a flannel cake.

All I have done is taken a cheap flannel and rolled it to fit a muffin case and added a few pins for decoration.
The box was made on my Top Score multi board and decorated with Magnolia muffin stamps.

Vintage Style Card

A card at last! This card is for a work colleague who will be 30 next month.
I have decided to enter this card into this week's challenge on Cute Card Thursday, a card using punches & die cuts, I have used both on this card.
This card is also being entered into Simon Says Challenge, a Tim Holtz special. I love Tim Holtz products and have used the tinted rose distress ink on the edge of this card.
I am really loving the vintage style of cards at the moment, the influence is from Norway. My lovely friend May Britt likes vintage. Most of the products I have used on this card are from Norway either from our craft shopping spree in Oslo or mail order via May Britt.
All of this year I have really struggled with my mojo but since my visit to Norway it seems to have returned which I'm very happy about.
