Sketch Saturday

I wanted to give this card a vintage look and I'm pleased with how it has turned out. I followed the sketch on this week challenge on Sketch Saturday.I didn't put too many flowers on as I think it would have spoilt the look.I used a Tim Holtz vintage ink pad to distress the bright green card. This is the first time I've tried this method and can see me using it again, I like the effect.
This card is for Poppy to give to my Mum for her birthday , I hope she like it.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

I've been a very bad blogger lately seem to have lost my mojo but I'm hoping that it has now returned as I have several new stamps waiting to be inked up.
This is my entry for this weeks Papertake Weekly challenge, a wonderful sketch by Dawny. I've used my new Messy Rabbit stamp which I bought last weekend at the NEC. These stamps are just a joy to colour. The flower has been created using a retro flower punch and the two strips from my Stamping Up punch.

Colour Create

This week on Colour Create the colours are red and green and so this gift bag I have made for my Mum's Mother Day gift fits the bill.
I only tend to use red & green for Christmas but I actually think this combo works well on this gift bag.
The image is a very cute Magnolia from their new Spring club kit. The design papers are Basic Grey and the ribbon from a Stamping Up ribbon share.

Magnolia Vs Stampavie

Over on Magnolia Vs Stampavie this week the theme is Mother's Day. I decided to entry the gift bag I have made my Mother In Law. The cute Magnolia image is from the Spring kit club which arrived on Friday and I have to say is one of their best.
I have used a Stamping Up punch to make the handles on my bag. The ribbon is also from Stamping Up and part of a ribbon share. Sorry I can't remember the dp as it came from my scrap box. As usual the image was coloured using Pro-markers.

Panduro

I've made this card for my Husband's great nephew Finlay who is soon to be 4 years old. The image is a very cute Panduro and I've coloured him in with my Pro-markers. The design paper is Kids by Nana and the star was cut using my Cricut Expression machine. The number 4 on the sail is a rub on.

Colour Create & My Time To Craft

This is the first time I have combined two challenges. On Colour create you need to use orange, yellow & green on your creations and the theme on My Time to Craft is Hats so I think this card fits both challenges.
The image is a very cute Sarah Kay, papers are Basic grey and flowers, ribbon are from my stash.

Cute Card Thursday

The challenge on Cute Card Thursday is Animal Magic and this is my entry.
I have used the sentiment "It's you day" so I can send this as a birthday card or even a mother's day card.
The image is a Messy Rabbit by Joanna Sheen and a joy to colour with my Pro-markers. I have used my new retro flower punches which I received as a birthday present from Poppy.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

I'm quite proud of myself this weekend as I've managed to make a couple of card for challenges, recently I don't seem to have the drive for being creative.
This is my entry for this weeks Papertake Weekly challenge and yet again I've used another stamp from my new set called Daisy & Dandelion, these are just so sweet.
The design papers are by Papermania, perfect for me as I just love lilac & green together.

Friday Sketchers

This is entry for the Friday Sketchers challenge. I have turned the sketch because my images are quite big, I hope this is ok. This is not my usual style or size of card but I quite like it.
The cute stamps are from a set called Daisy & Dandelion and I've used my Pro-markers to colour the image.
