Friends Always

I haven't make this card for any one person or challenge. It will stay in my card box for when I need a card in a hurry.
The image is one of my favourite High Hope rubber stamps is great because you can stamp your own sentiment on the board the girl is holding.
The design papers are actually from the DCVW Christmas pad but I think they look ok . Other bits are from my stash.

Which Challenge

have I made this card for? I printed out the sketch last week and I have missed the date to enter it and now I can't remember which challenge it was for. Must be my age! hehe
The photo is not very clear as it is dark outside.
The image is a Hanglar stamp and the paper is K&Co but not sure of the name.
I'm not too happy with my cards at the moment. I seem to have phases when I'm, pleased with my creations but lately I seem to have lost my touch.

My Birthday

Today is my 43rd birthday. I have been very spoilt with my hubby taking out to my favourite restaurant for lunch, the food was just yummy.

I have been a very lucky girl and have received some lovely presents and some money. I am going to the Hobbycraft show at the NEC in a couple of weeks and so I will be able to a good spending spree.

My question is "what is on your current crafting wishlist?" I always find it interesting to know what other crafters like to spend their money on.

Magnolia Card

Not too sure about this card but am pleased that I've used paper from my stash and an image from a previous club kit by Magnolia.
I just showed my friend some of my cards and she said that this one was her favourite so it just goes to show that everyone has different taste.
Coloured using my Pro-markers, prima flowers and small brads. Sentiment stamp from Aud Designs.

This card will probably be for my boss at work as he is into diy and never misses the opportunity to get his tool box out at work.
The paper is Basic Grey, pro-markers to colour image. The box of nails image is from High Hopes, ribbon from stash.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

A card at last! I have really struggled with my mojo this past week but I'm pleased with my entry for the Papertake Weekly challenge even if I have left it rather late.
I had a bit of a tidy up in my craft room this morning and have decided to try to use some of my older stash. The papers I've used for this card are called Cosmopolitan by MM. Whilst having my sort out I also found this corner punch. I'm delighted that I have found stash that I'd long forgotten about as I am trying hard to save my pennies at the moment.

Boys by Panduro

I have been busy in my craft room this weekend but I've been working on Poppy's scrapbook, I've completed a couple more pages. However I did managed to make one card using my new Boys stamps by Panduro. I am so in love with these stamps, they are just so quick & easy to colour.
It has started to snow again, we've just had so much this last week and whilst it has been fun I just want to get back to normal. Poppy missed 3 days school last week and it looks like she won't be going tomorrow either.

Snow Photo's

A few snowy pictures. We live on a very steep hill and as you can tell from the photo not many people tried it this morning, I wonder why!
Poppy had a great time seeing how much snow she could pick up with her hands. I also had a day off work because my boss text and told me to stay at home, no problem I said!
Hope everyone is enjoying the snow

Bottle Tag

Today is my first day in my craft room for a week. I am feeling so much better the extra strong painkillers really made the difference.
I have made a wine bottle tag template. I searched the net but couldn't find one so I made my own, not that it was difficult but I'm delighted with how it has turned out.
I have used Basic Grey papers and Edwin bar tender stamp which I though was very apt. I've coloured the image using Pro-markers and a Copics for Edwins face.

Photo Tagged

I've been photo tagged by Lainey and Sem thank you ladies so much for thinking about me.

The idea is that you have to find the 6th folder in your photo collection and then select the 6th photo and give an explanation about it.

This is our dog Ojo who is a Rhodesian Ridge Back and this photo was taken in 2002 when he was 1 year old. He is now 7 years and weights 8 stone. Since this photo was taken we have redecorated and bought a new sofa so he is no longer allowed on the sofa but given half the chance he will sneak onto it if we are upstairs.

Now I have to tag 6 people, who are :-

Carol
Lorraine
Joanne
Vicky
Zoe
Caroline

Hope you are having a good weekend and keeping warm.
