Saturday Challenge

The challenge on Saturday Challenge this week is 1,2,3 = 1 image, 2 papers and 3 embellishments.
I have used a Hanglar image coloured with mainly Pro-markers but I have also bought some Copics to try. I have to say that I still prefer my Pro-markers but maybe I have to get use to the Copics.
I have used a Martha Stewart punch to create the border and an EK Success punch for the corners, the flowers came from my stash.

Sketch & Stash

This is my entry for challenge # 2 on the Sketch & Stash challenge. The idea is that you follow the sketch but use a new or neglected stash on your card.
I have used a couple of new items, the first is my Nestability label die which I purchased from Ebay and the other is the red heart felt which came from Panduro Hobby .
I shall be giving this card to my husband for valentine's day and I'm pleased with how it's turned out.
The image is a Hanglar, the sentiment is by Aud designs and the design papers are Basic Grey, Martha Stewart border punch and I've used my wonderful Pro-markers to colour the image.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

This week over at Papertake Weekly it is Dawny's turn and what a fabulous sketch she has created, I will definitely use it again. Thanks Dawny.
I have used fairly muted colours for this card because I have several male birthdays this month but I'm still undecided if it's ok for a man, what do you think?
The image is from Elzybells I can see another addiction coming on, lol.

Sketch Saturday

I've had a very enjoyable afternoon in my craft room and I've managed to produce two cards (will post other creation later).
My first is for sketch #34 on Sketch Saturday, I've changed the circle for an oval only because my image suited the oval rather than a circle.
My image is a very cute Panduro stamp coloured using Pro-marker pens. The star is also from the same Panduro set. Whilst rummaging in my ribbon stash I found this very pretty ribbon which is pink on one side and gold on the other perfect for this card. I've also used a Martha Stewart border punch.

Sketch & Stash Challenge

A wonderful new challenge blog has just been launched called Sketch & Stash Challenge http://sketchandstashchallenge.blogspot.com/

Every two weeks there is a new sketch to follow but the twist is that you have to use your new or unused stash.

My new stash item for this challenge is the image from Hanglar. I've had this stamp several months but never inked it up so it is perfect for this challenge.

I know it is too early to think about Mother's Day but that was my first thought when I saw this stamp.

Beware Email Scam

I would just like to make people aware of an email scam. I use BT's paperless billing service but I have just received an email supposable from BT saying that my details needed updating or my account would be suspended. I pay by direct debit and I know that my account is up to date and my next bill is not until March. This email was addressed "Dear Customer" I would like to think that if BT wrote to me that they would address me by my name and so this is what set the alarm bells ringing. I have reported this to BT but need to phone back in the morning to give more details.Just wanted to make everyone aware.

Why are there so many people in this world that think it's ok to con other people out of their hard earnt cash?

On a happier note hope to be back over the weekend with some creations.
